Priceless Gifts

I am so excited to be submitting my book proposal on or before March 1, 2024.

This book is about my journey of parenting my child who was severely delayed in gross motor, fine motor, and speech at every milestone. For the first 5 years of her life, I went through most days full of fear, controlling and impatient energy without even realizing it. I was focused on her lack of accomplishments and gave off the energy of “not good enough.” I was worried and scared, quit my job, and applied my project management skills to get all the therapies and help we could access. My entire understanding of my world that I fit into so perfectly was crumbling around me, day after day, year after year. Many people know this painful place to which I refer and yet it looks different for every parent.

The focus of this book is not my difficult journey. My hope for this book is to provide at the very least a crack of light in a very dark and lonely place for parents and at best a whole bunch of people who interpret the world differently owning their differences and shining like beacons for others. This book offers parents the Belief Re-patterning technique, a concrete tool that can assist in shifting their parenting perspective. This book offers hope and a fellow momma daring to dream a meaningful life for her child. If I can dare to dream then so can other parents.
