Get to Know Me
My name is Leanne Hullick-Reyes
Project Manager to Gentle Gardener Mamma through The Radical Art of Parenting
Leanne spends a large portion of each day walking the path with her beautiful girl who is differently abled. Her background as a Sociology graduate working in project management did not prepare her for parenting. Her parenting journey demanded a complete re-wiring of how to live and BE to walk the path alongside her daughter. The external world of DO and HAVE, the world Leanne lived and believed in did not fit with the Stella path. Stella was not able to make some of the DOs happen and this was difficult for Leanne. In this journey Leanne stumbled upon BE, this increased her awareness of her self worry, fear and anxiety. She had spent little time focusing on her inner world and now it required her full attention as anxiety and fear are so easy to pass on to children. Instead of that worry, fear and anxiety, Leanne knew she wanted peace, patience, and calm and she did not know how to get this and hold it. These were all revelations that required Leanne to evaluate her values and belief systems, re-invent herself so Leanne, her daughter and her family could feel joy and success.
Leanne shares worries similar to other parents of special needs and chooses to focus her energies on providing Stella with a variety of activities and adventures for Stella to reveal her brilliance to herself and others. Leanne consciously interweaves activities with seeds of innovation, safety, independence, autonomy, healthy boundaries, and believing in herself. Leanne revels in the visible evidence of Stella practicing ‘owning’ the feelings of priceless gifts such as empowerment and ability. In her book, Leanne offers this perspective to fellow parents in that they may put down some of the external heavy baggage of ‘not enough’ that lives in parent and child to create inner space for hope, trust and miracles.
Leanne is a Belief Specialist and Certified Coach in the Belief Re-patterning® Technique, sharing her parenting perspective recently at the online M.O.R.E.athon Summit as well as the Family Matters Mega Summit in honour of the United Nations Day of Family. She also presented to parents at her daughter’s summer camp that was specifically for children who use devices to communicate.
Leanne’s clients include parents of children with special needs. Leanne accompanies parents on an inward journey to address beliefs that may no longer be serving them such as inadequacies as a parent. She holds a light as clients reveal and ease emotions such as worry, fear and grief and she reminds her clients to weave some fun into the almighty to-do list.
She offers individual and family coaching, and hosts uplifting monthly online conversations including topics: Creativity, Fear to Faith, You Cannot Give from Empty, Forgiveness, and That Voice in our Head.
Leanne is writing her memoir with a message of hope for fellow parents. She is sharing her dream of a meaningful life for her daughter. In this book she will share her pivot in her parenting perspective that has enabled her to focus on offering her daughter priceless gifts. Leanne is currently creating workshops based on her book as well as family camps focused on connection.

About Belief Re-patterning
Designed by Suze Casey, Belief Re-patterning is the "How To, Go To" for positive thinking and supports you in transforming challenges into opportunities. This technique focuses on how you want to feel and gives you the tools needed to step into your best self.
We all have that inner voice that is either on the downside or the upside. The inner critic, that seems to be knocking us down, is actually trying to keep us safe from a saber-tooth tiger. However, there is no tiger.
In our session we acknowledge and listen to the inner critic. As we move through the 7 steps of Belief Re-patterning, the inner critic quiets down and this creates space to hear the inner coach. The inner coach hangs out on the upside and this is where we have access to our creativity, inner guidance and intelligence.
